The Norwich Railway Heritage and Model Society traces its history back through many years, with the first recorded exhibtion being in 1957.
Now, the club aims to foster the wide range of modelling interests of its members which include P4, H0, 009 and Z gauge, with a much wider variety than the existing society layouts.
Currently these comprise of 0, Tramway 00, 00 Finsecale, and N gauge and are in various stages of construction and operation. Four layouts have been used in Exhibitions two of these, a former N gauge and the current 00 gauge layout Brooklands Park winning "Best in Exhibition Trophy".
For more information on these, plesase visit the layouts page-

Some evenings are spent in working on the club's layouts and informally discussing railways and modelling. The last Wednesday of each month is Running Night when members run their locos and stock on our layouts. During the winter months we have had illustrated talks by guest speakers on a variety of railway subjects. A members "At Home" in January stages a competition for railway models, both kit and scratch built by members. The club stages an Annual Exhibition in March, which is open to the public.
